Miss me?????

Ok, I am BACK!!

I have beach pictures.........

We moved...............

Celebrated a 6 year anniversary..............

And once again, my monkeys won't stop growing and changing...........

Now that the internet is finally working and all various computer cords have been found from stacks and stacks of crazy random moving boxes.......I am ready to please all of my 3 readers with hilarious stories from the above moments...........

Not quite a beach recap yet....................

We had a FANTASTIC beach trip............that will have pictures posted soon................I swear......

But tonight is the last night I am sleeping in my home. It's sold, remember. Movers come tomorrow. I'm not packed.........What? Not packed?.........Yes............not packed.

I want to start with my blessings..............I have so many.............Although not always easy to count when a bad day hits, I am very very blessed! Have you seen my kids? Damn cute! Full of love and personality and the bluest eyes --- eyes come straight from the husband--Blue as the sky!! Family that extends way beyond bloodlines...........Friends that are family, Family that is family........Long list of blessings...........

It doesn't mean I won't miss my home. It was built with a lot of sweat and tears and love.........And tons of thought.......for example, an electrical outlet just for Christmas lights..........

These came from my parents home and have done beautifully!!


These were planted by Hubby, Dad and myself and started out so small but have really filled out nicely!!

This lovely carving of "mexico" was done by some highly skilled workers............But, God has an amazing way of healing................

Big Papa's first nursery was decorated in this home, Both kids had their first birthdays here, both kids first walked here, lots of firsts here..............But just like the poor magnolia tree above, God has an amazing way of healing things. And we'll be having a whole lot more "firsts" no matter where we live, and for that I am blessed..................

And for all the things I love about this home (The natural light is stunning from all the windows and did I mention my barn door? LOVE IT) I get to take what I love the most and...................

MOVE THEM WITH ME..............................

Am I sad? Hell yes
Will I drive out of my way to specifically NOT drive by my home? For a while, I'm sure.
Do I like moving? Absolutely not, which is why I am blogging instead of packing.

So.................guess I better get packed..................time to move!!

It's official...........

What? Don't hear cheers and fireworks? hmmmmm, me neither.........

But it is what it is.........and as I have been told, time to "put it to bed"......

As most of you know (all 3 of you who actually read this) , I don't do CHANGE very well. Not very well at all, but, I am trying to put my big girl panties on and move on....of course, the panties are a little snug but that is another post for another day (damn lattes and bagels)....

ok, back to the MOVE.............Great news, is we have a cute rental house that will be ready and waiting for us in August.........I know, when you hear "cute" you don't exactly think big do you? Well, what is big, is the back yard........big and flat and completely fenced in!! I will have 2 very happy little monkeys........as long as we get some sort of playhouse / swing/ slide combo.......Santa? you listening????

The kitchen and bathrooms (yeh, there are 2) have been remodeled and there is even a playroom!! Great since our playroom has resided in our living room since day one!! It's a 3 bedroom and as much as it pains me, I am a little excited about decorating ladybug's room......Not sure i'll get the ok to paint but plan on working around it's green color and I think Ems will love it!! Big papa's is already painted blue so his stuff will fit right in!!

It's been a helluva rollercoaster ride for a while now and I am trying to cherish the time we have left here at the old Casa..........I love all the windows and how much natural light comes in, we use our screened in porch daily and my kitchen ROCKS.........ha, i know, i don't cook, but everybody loves it when they come over :)

I am sure I will post some more about this, no guarantees it will be happy, but FYI, those people who are always happy, ARE MEDICATED.................

Not too shabby.......Of course, I am absolutely exhausted!! The people started pouring in at 7:10 and didn't stop at all until almost 3.......WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT..........We even had them trying to buy empty tables and shelves!!
People will buy the darnedest things....Like OLD plant food for .50cents or a bottle of caulk for $1.00.

Best thing about the sale (besides it being over), learning how great friends are!! I had my friends and family step up BIG TIME! Ok, so I can add that to the list of blessings! Which I am trying to count on a minute by minute basis....
