At our old house, the kitties got relegated to the basement which was separated from the house by a baby gate.........it really was sad..........they would both hover on the top stair and just, well, STARE..............I tried to explain to them that they were actually much safer...........it was best that the little devils, I mean darlings, just couldn't quite reach them............
Well, at our new house, they are in the kids play room...........

How old are you kitties now? I am thinking you got them right after college so like 1995 which means 15 years?
