CRAZY CLASS PARTY from monkey's 2 year class............

For some reason, we have been banned from doing this in our classroom this year. Not sure why they don't want 3 year olds jacked up on sugar running around like Tasmanian devils but nonetheless, it's not happening. OH WAIT, it is happening, it's just happening in MY living room.................Don't worry, we'll post those pictures later!!

Strength...........

I am always fascinated by other peoples strengths. Whether it's on the news, through friends of friends, or very close to home......

I have 2 friends who have dealt with very recent family tragedies. From the outside, I have cried and mourned and have felt the loss as much as an outsider truly can. On the inside, however, I have marveled in their strength.

Marveled and wondered how they get up everyday and how even on the days they couldn't get up, the strength was still there.

Could I do the same? Not sure.

Did I say the right things? Probably not.

But I am so proud of them and hope that everyday, their load gets a little easier to bare........

Since it's almost Valentine's Day, I thought i would do another FLASHBACK.............
This was our little monkey's first valentine's day ......Sweet baby girl!!

DISCLAIMER: For the record, I know that photoshop is my friend....Once I learn how to do it!! But as parents, we actually get the right to take embarrassing pictures of our children and then share them with friends and family members at various events IE: Rehearsal dinners!!

BUT, for the record, I did NOT take this with the intention of having an ENCRUSTATION (booger) peak out!!

Since this jungle mama didn't get on the blogging train till WAY late, I figured i would do a little flashback occasionally and share some old pics.........
